Complete set for long-term ceramic sealing of paints. The set includes the two sealing products Basecoat Evo and Glosscoat Evo, as well as the preparation product Prepare and three applicator sponges with a microfiber surface. WHAT IS A CERAMIC SEAL? Coating is a special form of sealing and refers to the application of a firmly adhering, closed layer to a surface. If the coating is based on a framework made of silicon-containing compounds, it is referred to as ceramic sealing. In contrast to waxes, a coating actively bonds with the paint and is therefore much more durable. When fully cured, it behaves like a second clear coat. WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES? A paint coated with CC Evo offers new properties such as significantly improved hydrophobicity (beading, water beading off), increased chemical resistance and improved UV resistance. The coating therefore protects against harmful biological influences such as insect dirt, bird droppings and tree resin stains. A very important function that a ceramic coating gives the paint is protection against re-contamination and a certain self-cleaning effect. Ultimately, it is the visually perfect impression that a deep, high-gloss paint leaves behind after it has been professionally coated.

Application

How is the product used correctly? After polishing the paint, the PREPARE is sprayed ultra-finely into a microfiber cloth as a basic cleaner, the paint is wiped off with it and prepared for coating. CC Evo must then be applied in two stages. In the first sealing step, BASECOAT Evo is applied thinly to partial areas using an applicator sponge. After a short flash-off time, the excess product is wiped off with an ultra-fine microfiber cloth and then a new partial area is treated. After waiting for 1 hour, in a second step, the GLOSSCOAT Evo is applied thinly with a new applicator sponge. The flash-off time should be a few minutes to 10 minutes. The excess product is then removed with an ultra-fine microfiber cloth. If the product begins to harden in the sponge on large vehicles, a new application sponge should be used. The fully treated vehicle must be left dry for at least 4 hours and must not get wet during this time. It would be ideal to leave the vehicle in a room overnight. The first vehicle wash may only take place after 1 week at the earliest. WHY IS CARE USEFUL AND NECESSARY EVEN AFTER THE VEHICLE IS COATED? Despite the protective layer, the coated vehicle is still exposed to environmental influences such as insect dirt, tar, rust film or tree resin, which try to settle on the paint. Also, not all vehicle surfaces are subject to the same load, So it makes sense to use care products at certain intervals right from the start. HOW AND WITH WHICH PRODUCTS DO I CARE FOR THE SEALED VEHICLE? Normal vehicle washing should ideally be done by hand with the PROFILINE ReloadShampoo. Alternatively, the pH-neutral shine shampoo or the PROFILINE ActiFoam for foam washes are suitable. If the latter is used, it is recommended to use PROFILINE Spray+Seal after every third wash or PROFILINE PolymerNetshield every six months to keep the beading at the highest level. WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE EXTREME POLLUTION? For extremely stubborn dirt, there are special cleaners such as tree resin remover or tar remover. It is important to rub mechanically as little as possible when removing the loosened dirt residue with a polishing fleece. The use of (alkaline) insect removers puts a particularly high strain on the coating on the front of the vehicle, so that re-sealing may be necessary in these areas depending on the frequency of use. What am I definitely not allowed to do? After the coating has been carried out, the vehicle must not be polished or come into contact with highly alkaline cleaners, such as those used for pre-washing in car washes. This leads to accelerated degradation of the ceramic layers.
