Motul Original Product Product description: MOTUL DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid is a fully synthetic, polyglycol-based brake fluid for disc and drum brake systems Manufacturer recommendation DOT 5.1, DOT 4 and DOT 3. Specially developed for vehicles with anti-lock braking systems (ABS). Special advantages / application instructions: • Can be mixed with all DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 products. • Can be mixed with the predecessor MOTUL HYDRAULIK DOT 5. • Particularly long-lasting brake fluid due to the high wet boiling point. • Easier fluid circulation in the precision mechanics of anti-lock braking systems (ABS). • Corrosion resistant; behaves neutrally towards seals in the brake system. • Replacement intervals: Between 12 and 24 months (depending on the manufacturer's recommendation). • Close carefully and store in the original container to prevent moisture absorption. • For safety reasons, brake fluids should not be refilled but replaced! • WARNING: Not miscible with silicone-based brake fluids (DOT5) and special fluids such as LHM. Liquid can attack the vehicle's paint.
